understanding Routing

Routing is the process by which an item can be up to tujuna from one location to another. some examples of items that can be in the routing: mail, telephone calls, and data. In the network, the router is a device to use to perform rouiting traffic.

The basic concepts of routing
In WAN networks are often familiar with TCP / IP as the delivery address so that data packets can be up to the addressee (destination host). TCP / IP divides each task from receipt of the data packet to the data packet transmission. In routing the data packet transmission can be divided into direct and indirect roting.
Direct Routing is an addressing directly toward the destination address without going through another host. Examples of a computer / PC with ip address 192.168.1.2 sends data to a computer with ip address 192.168.1.3
Indirect Routing is an addressing that need through other host address before heading to the destination host address example: computer with 192.168.1.2 address to send data to the computer with the address 192.168.1.3, but before heading to computer with the address 192.168.1.2, the data will first through the host with the address 192.168.1.5 and then proceed to the destination host address.

Type routing configuration
1. Minimal routing is a routing process is simple and usually only local use only.
2. Static routing is built on a network that has a lot of gateways.
3. Dynamic outing, usually used on network that has more than one route. Meperlukan routing Dynamic routing protocol to make the routing table Who can take a computer resource
